John Plaster is an Atlanta-based architect known for transforming wishlists and constraints into inspired, beautiful homes. His work across the Southeast blends creativity with a deep sense of belonging - breathing soul into modern homes and life into traditional styles. With degrees in Architecture and Interior Architecture from Auburn University, he trained at the Rural Studio and top firms like LSM and McAlpine before founding Plaster Architecture in 2020. In 2024, his firm received two Gold Medals at the Georgia Design Awards, affirming his reputation for thoughtful design rooted in both artistry and place.
John’s work has been featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Georgia Design Magazine, Metropolis, and Rural Studio at Twenty.

Alair Greater Atlanta is a trusted custom home building and remodeling firm serving the Metro Atlanta area, including Buckhead, Decatur, and Marietta. This dynamic initiative will showcase SCAD's signature blend of imaginative creativity, professional-quality artistry, and collaborative innovation that defines the university's educational experience.

Exclusive Public Showcase
The SCAD dollhouse will make its debut at SCAD Atlanta's SCAD Art Sales Gallery at 1600 Peachtree NW, featured prominently during the university's Fine Arts Showcase and holiday artwork sale on November 7th. This exclusive preview builds anticipation for La Petite Maison's signature Gala on November 19th, creating a month-long celebration of design excellence and charitable giving. While the other nine Maisons will be auctioned during the gala, SCAD's version will go on to be displayed proudly at the Ansley School, inspiring a future generation of artists to pursue creative careers.

About the SCAD School of Building Arts and Interior Design program
The story of SCAD begins with interior design. Interior design was one of the eight original degree program offerings at the university’s founding in 1978, and over four decades later, interior design is one of the university’s highest enrolled programs across SCAD’s global locations in Savannah, Atlanta, Lacoste, France and SCADnow.
